Salted Vanilla Bean Whipped Cream

From a recipe in Half Baked Harvest by Tieghan Gerard a great little salted vanilla bean whipped cream recipe.

Time : 5-10 min (+fridge time)

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons hazelnut salted liquor
  • seeds from 1 vanilla bean (or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract)
  • pinch of sea salt

Instructions :

  1. Add the heavy cream to a large bowl
  2. Whisk until soft peaks form
  3. Add the powdered sugar, seeds from 1 vanilla bean (or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract), hazelnut liquor and pinch of salt,
  4. Store in the fridge until ready to use
  5. Serve your preferred desert with a dollop of salted vanilla bean whipping cream
